Grant-writing information to be presented Dec. 6

An open house will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Dec. 6, to acquaint members of the Tri-State nonprofit community with the resources available from the Foundation Center at the Washington County Free Library in Hagerstown.

Participants will meet in the board room of the Community Foundation and United Way of Washington County at 33 W. Franklin St., Suite 203, in downtown Hagerstown.

Harry Sachs, supervisor of the Foundation Center's Cooperating Collection at WCFL, will provide demonstrations of two digital and print-based databases. These resources are available to anyone in the general public who is searching for grant funding.

The Community Foundation and United Way will also be available to answer any questions about the Strategic Community Impact Plan.
